1. INTRO
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Welcome, this is a mod for the base game of Black & White. Why not CI? Because I think this game has some potential, and I like the challenge of working with limitations.
Now, you've already read the description of my mod... I hope, but if you haven't here's the short of it.
This mod makes small changes (for now) to the game, allowing for you to always get your original creature back, removing a lot of handholding, fixing a few issues, and adding some details that I think are neat.

For now the mod only alters stuff on the first three lands, but I have hopes of making even grander changes.

But that's for the future. Let's now get to how you can install this game.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
2. INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Before this, make sure you have installed Black & White, the patches 1.1, 1.2, and fanpatch 1.4.2
You don't need anything else after that, and all patches can be found on BWGame.

To install this mod simply take the "Script" folder and paste it into your B&W directory. It will replace two files at the moment, allowing for my mod to function and for the text at the start to be accurate. To run my mod, simply start a new game with an existing or new account.
If you ever wish to uninstall my mod, go into the backup folder and follow the instructions there.

3. CHANGELOG (will contain spoilers, I guess)
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

- V 0.5

	Land 1
- When starting a new game, the third and fourth options have been changed.
	> for the third, it will instead bring you to the start of "The Storm", putting you one step away from Nemesis brining lightning and death upon your town.
	> For the fourth, the Keep Creature option has been replaced with one that acts more like the original "Skip Creature Guide" option, where the vortex immediately gets opened.
- Multiple tutorials no longer have demos showing your hand doing the actions.
- to account for the removed "Keep Creature" Option, you will now be given a fourth choice at the creature grove, namely your original Creature. Pick him if you want to keep him, or else pick one of the starters to replace him (doing this will require you to open the skirmish menu and to leave it right after, to make the game recognize your new creature). If you didn't have a creature before this, they'll get replaced by an ape.
- This means you can now play the whole game from the very beginning with less handholding and with your original creature.
- After the choice, the creature Grove will contain the creatures you didn't pick that aren't your original, allowing you to swap with the Tiger and Cow, who normally aren't available.
- When you pick your original Creature, you will always skip Sable's quests, leading you right to the start of the Guide's quests, to the Storm, or the opening of the vortex, depending on your choice at the start of the game.
- The Creature Guide's species will now have more variation, depending on the species of your creature. Also makes his alignment based on the average of your own and your Creature's alignment
- When skipping the Creature Tutorial, you will still have access to Sleg's quest and the ability to take over the Aztec village.

	Land 2
- Khazar's tutorials no longer have demos showing your hand doing the actions.
- Khazar's Creature is now half the alignment of your own creauture, and Lethys' Creature will be negative half your creature's alignment.
- The island used for the Fireball Miracle Challenge now has it's "anti influence" removed at the end of the quest, allowing you to grab stuff there once more.
- Khazar's Gesture lesson will now also be made available once you've finished the workshop quest.
- The Baywatch quest in the second Indian village now has it's "anti influence" removed at the end of the quest, allowing you to grab stuff around the pier once more.

	Land 3
- Time between the Creature being freed and checking if Lethys last town is close to being taken over reduced.
- After surrender, Lethys will now become your ally, and will no longer bother you.
- If you decide to betray Lethys, you will now be able to kill off his creature for good. It is slightly buggy, so it might look like he has come back regardless, but give it some time. he should get deleted from the game some time after hitting 100% damage and dying.

4. FUTURE PLANS
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

For now I want to keep on working on tweaking and modifying the game where I see fit. But in the future I might dedicate myself to making a "New Game Plus" mode, taking the original story and adding new quests, small and big changes alike, and maybe a few new lands. But that's for when I have improved my modding ability.

There is also a few known bugs. Don't grab a person after you've placed them near the de-aging lady's house. Trust me, you don't want that softlock.

5. FINAL NOTES
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

In case something goes wrong, feel free to leave a comment or message me in Discord. I go by the name of herolich1 there.

For those of you who wish to see the code themselves, just lemme know and I will share a link to my github repo (which I use because it makes it a lot easier to see what I changed)
